Volvo FE / FL / VM Left Headlamp — OE 20818763

Left-hand front headlamp for the Volvo FE, FL and VM cab built from 2006 onwards, the square lamp that sits alongside the grille on the facelift cab. One H4 main and dip reflector fills the upper part of the housing, and a separate lower lens carries the position and indicator bulbs behind a clear outer cover. It locates on the original mounting points and reuses the factory plug. OE reference 20818763 — the left-hand member of the FE/FL/VM headlamp pair; the right-hand counterpart is 20818771.

3. Does the lamp come with bulbs?

No. It is supplied without bulbs, so fit new H4 main and dip bulbs along with the position and indicator bulbs, or move the existing ones across.

5. How do I tell the two sides apart?

The outer shape is close, but the reflector and the beam cut-off are handed, so the left and right lamps are not interchangeable. Order the number that matches the corner you are repairing.

6. Will it plug into the existing wiring?

Yes. The lamp uses the original connector, so the truck loom and plug are left untouched.

7. Is the lamp sealed?

The outer lens is bonded to the housing, so the lamp is renewed as one complete unit rather than being split for a lens change.

8. Can a workshop fit it without special tools?

The lamp unbolts from the front corner and refits on the same mountings. On some cabs the grille or the corner trim is moved aside first.

9. How is it packed for export?

Ten pieces to a carton, with the lamp body protected so the lens and housing arrive without scuffing.

10. Can you supply both sides together?

Yes. Order both numbers and we will consolidate the left and right lamps into one consignment.

11. What if a lamp arrives damaged?

Send photographs of the carton and the lamp within seven days of delivery and we will settle it with a replacement or a credit.

Two marks matter on a headlight, and they cover different things. CE marking covers the applicable European product requirements. ECE type approval - the E-mark - is the lighting approval: on approved models it is applied permanently to the housing, together with the issuing country code, the regulation and the approval number. Those approval numbers can be verified against the published ECE regulation and the test documentation is available on request. A lamp cannot simply be given an E-mark; the approval belongs to the product and to the manufacturer who holds it.
