Four square lenses are mounted along a single grey base plate, which is how this bar covers tail, stop, indicator and reverse in one go. The plate screws directly to the rear frame, the bar runs on 24V, and the lead is already fitted.

1. What do the four lenses do?
Each square lens covers its own function, tail, stop, indicator and reverse, along the one bar, with red, clear, amber and yellow lenses in the set.
2. What is the bar mounted on?
A grey base plate that fixes flat to the trailer or truck panel.
3. Which voltage does it take?
24V.
4. Is there a bulb to change?
None. The lenses cover LED units in a sealed body, so the bar is renewed as a whole.
5. How is it wired?
A flying lead comes fitted to the bar and connects straight into the vehicle loom.

This lamp is supplied as an aftermarket replacement part. CE marking and ECE type approval are not the same thing, and both are relevant to a tail light bar. CE marking covers the European product requirements; the E-mark is the vehicle lighting type approval. On models that hold an approval the E-mark is applied permanently to the housing together with the issuing country code, the applicable regulation and the approval number. Approval numbers can be verified against the published ECE regulation, and the paperwork is available on request. An approval belongs to the product and to the manufacturer who holds it, and cannot simply be added to a lamp.
