24V Full Width LED Rear Light for Truck Trailer

Instead of a row of small lamps, this unit fills its whole face with red, amber and clear LED arrays, so tail, stop, indicator and reverse are all shown across one wide fitting. It is made for 24V, has a flat mounting base that bolts to the rear frame, and arrives with the lead already fitted.

1. How many functions does the wide unit give?

Four: tail, stop, indicator and reverse, with red, amber and white LEDs spread across the full width of the face.

2. Why use one wide lamp instead of several small ones?

It replaces a row of separate lamps, which cuts the number of cut-outs, joints and earth points on the rear frame.

No. The LED arrays sit behind a clear lens in a sealed black body, so the unit is renewed complete.

5. How does it mount and connect?

It fixes flat to the panel through its base, and a pre-wired flying lead is already fitted.

Neither mark can be added to a lamp retrospectively. CE marking addresses the European product requirements, while the E-mark is ECE type approval for the lighting, and on approved models it is applied permanently to the housing of the tail light with the issuing country code, the regulation and the approval number. The approval number can be verified against the published ECE regulation and the test documentation is available on request. As with any lighting approval, it belongs to the product and to the manufacturer who holds it.
